The 2022 China-Germany Cooperation Project Notice

The Ministry of Science and Technology of China recently issued the "Guidelines for the Application of the First Batch of Key Special Projects of "Intergovernmental International Cooperation in Science and Technology Innovation" in 2022" (Guoke Fazi [2021] No. 329. In order to promote Sino-German science and technology cooperation and exchanges, the China (Germany) R&D Innovation Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the "Alliance") provides services such as coordinating Chinese and German enterprises and project partners for science and innovation colleagues who have application needs.

In order to assist in the completion of the project docking work, the relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. require institutions to provide assistance to units of Union briefing and cooperation with the Alliance needs to contact the Secretariat before 19 November 2021, in order to make the relevant organization services.

Appendix

Science and Technology Cooperation Project between China and Germany

Cooperation Agreement: "Joint Statement of Intent of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China and the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure of the Federal Republic of Germany on continuing cooperation in the field of innovation-driven technologies and related infrastructure."

Field direction: hydroge fuel cell vehicle field, including: hydroge fuel cell vehicle public scene hydroge leakage prevention and control and safety regulation research, hydroge quality online monitoring and infrastructure efficient operation research, hydroge fuel cell vehicle carbon emission reduction potential research.

Number of projects to be supported: 5

Total planned support funds: 20 million yuan.

other requirements:

(1) In order to encourage the integration of production, education and research, the Sino-German cooperation project adopts the "2+2" cooperation model, that is, China and Germany each have at least one scientific research institution and one enterprise, and in principle, the enterprise should provide supporting funding at least equal to the amount of government funding .

(2) Sino-German cooperation units should sign the agreement or letter of intent and other project cooperation documents within the validity period, and the participating units of both parties should clarify their contribution, division of labor and intellectual property distribution in cooperative research and development.

(3) Both parties to the project need to submit application materials to the project solicitation department of their respective countries, and the unilateral application of the project is invalid.

(4) The project implementation period is 2 to 3 years.
